The Main Space is ideal for groups of up to 16 people. Measuring 28 ft x 17 ft (9m x 6m), it is well suited to workshops, meetings, screenings and intimate performances. It has a fresh modern look with a white-red-black-wood colour scheme and slightly Japanese overtones.
There is a comfortable seating area at one end, with two sofas, a rug, a giant Budda Bag and a few chairs. This area can also be cleared so that only the corner sofas remain.
Along a wall in the middle of the space there is a beautiful altar that can be adapted and personalised to fit with the type of event that’s taking place.
Other features of the space include:
- lovely underfloor heating for the cooler months, with additional heating available if needed
- a recess kitchen along one wall that can be left open or partially hidden with a Japanese-style bamboo screen
- up to sixteen 2ft square jigsaw mats for sitting on the floor: each mat is reversible so they can be all red, all black or a combination
- two massage couches
- two stylish modern-looking items of dungeon furniture: a St Andrews Cross and a Barrel Bench
- a small dining table that’s ideal for buffets (and can also accommodate 4 people seated)
- cutlery and crockery for up to 12 people (with disposables available for larger groups)
- a powerful sound system ready for your iPod or laptop to plug into
The Main Space is extremely versatile: all these features are included at no extra cost and most items can be removed quickly and easily as needed. Please let us know your requirements when making your booking.
In addition we have an LCD projector and screen that can be hired for a small extra charge.
